A pair of nice reads
June 8th, 2007On the lighter side, La Cremiere has a post on Prince Charming vs Shrek. Who would make a better lover? As someone who has been both, I find it an interesting read. I especially find it an interesting read because I love reading a woman’s perspective on things.
On a serious note, Neal wrote an excellent piece on a way The Man screws over hard-working Americans by bringing in lowly paid employees from Third World countries to undercut American workers. I guess tech workers were getting too much money and The Man didn’t like that. So, here comes the H1-B visa and outsourcing, and to top it off, corporations get tax breaks while outsourcing American jobs. And we wonder why Americans are so pissed off. Read the article here. It’s an excellent piece.
Have an excellent weekend my friends. Tomorrow, I’m spending the whole day in San Francisco with The Badman to check out over a dozen bands. Sunday, have a surprise for Mrs. Z and Junior.

I’d prefer Shrek. The hygiene’s not so great, but he’s humble, funny, brave…all that good stuff. Aside from financial security, I can’t think of any positives that would come with choosing Charming.
Also, Shrek doesn’t appear to have any relatives, so no in-laws!

Hey there. I hope your suprise went well with Mrs Z and Junior. We had a great big family dinner last night and then went down to the neighbors house for an hour to let the girls wind down a bit more before bed.
Now on to more important stuff. I prefer Shrek also. Not into the Prince Charming guys. Sorry no offense. I have had bad luck with them really so I just prefer the other.
Man do I miss San Francisco. The longer I’m away the more I miss it.
I’ll definitely check out the tech link. I sure was making the money in the day. Not that I’m poor now, but I was getting fat.

Did you see the news today? Apparently The Man now takes home a check bigger than most sport and movie stars.
