Busy busy busy
October 26th, 2007Man, been too busy. I still haven’t written my Second Amendment post, but at least I have the First done.
I’m going to hit your blogs this weekend, in between outings, weekend errands, and Junior’s football game.
As for right now, going to cook some beef stroganoff. Got some organic beef, which Safeway now carries. They also have ground buffalo too, but to get buffalo steaks, I have to go to Kinders’ Custom Meats.
Completely off topic, I haven’t said an ethnic joke in awhile. Since I hate political correctness with a passion, one of these days, I’ll bring back ethnic jokes. Here’s a quickie.

Looking forward to the Second Amendment post. May start getting organic meats ourselves. We would like to cut out the hormones as much as possible. Been meaning to ask, have you heard any news about the mvie version of World War Z? Last I heard was that Brad Pitt bought the movie rights. Last I heard was it’s in the works. I don’t know how far along. It’s been funded, I heard.
We’re doing as much organic as we can afford. It’s expensive, but I’d gladly pay to not be jacked up with hormones, pesticides, and other crap.

Good news; they’re finally carrying organic milk and eggs in our stores…and they’re less than 50 cents more than the chemical laced versions!

Anyway, hope you have a great weekend as well. I, too, have been doing some cooking, mostly baked goods. Made a homemade peach cobbler last night. Homemade pastry crust and everything. Since peaches are no longer in season I had to use frozen ones, but It still turned out mighty tasty.
