Happy Halloween!
October 31st, 2007It’s Halloween, and I have the day off. I know people at work will be dressed up and will be allowed to have one hour of fun before getting all serious again. I was sure to rub it in that I’ll be sleeping in today and drinking all night tonight, then sleeping in again tomorrow while they’re working their asses out to get their code done by the next big release. Sucks to be them.
Tonight, dropping off Junior and he’ll be trick-or-treating with some of his friends. After we pick him up, Mrs. Z and I will hit a few bars, but she has to work the next day so we won’t stay out too late. We’ll be hooking up with friends, including several fellow pretentious critics.
As of now, just had breakfast. Time to hit some blogs. Happy Halloween!
Have fun, I’m walking my daughter, Miss Wiggles, around tonight allowing her to keep her dentist well employed. I’ve got to work tomorrow myself and will only drink a few beers, that is as long as I don’t begin to think of the Silly season that is about to begin.

I was Satan for Halloween and I scared the hell out of many kids in the haunted house. One of my co-workers is a Jehova’s witness, so he didn’t come to work. That’s lame.

Skeletor - Yeah, Jehovah’s Witnesses seem to miss out on all the fun. They miss out on Christmas too. They’re actually anarchists. They don’t say the Pledge of Allegiance either nor do they engage in any wars.
Tweety - Thanks. Agreed. I friend of ours said they date once a week. Probably a good idea. They’ve been married for over 25 years so they have a good track record.

Thankfully, nobody here dressed up yesterday, although I remember a couple of years back that people did. Lots of people, actually, I wonder what’s changed, other than morale around here sucks canal water.
