February 3rd, 2008I finally got zombie-slayer.com!
In case you’re wondering, everything is cool between me and the other Pretentious Critics. I just wanted to get zombie-slayer.com and I got it.
I also decided to change the theme. Yes, I’m well-aware the old theme is much better looking. This new theme though is simple and allows for more text. Now I can be wordy and it won’t look so cluttered. Let’s just say it’s more professional.
I got money on the Super Bowl. I’ll see you all after the game. Until then, tootles! Oh, don’t forget to update your bookmarks.
Update: I changed the theme again. Mrs. Z suggested this one because I am color blind. Thanks Lime for your criticism. Mrs. Z also said it was hard on the eyes so this one is much better and it’s not too graphical where it doesn’t load fast.

I hope you don’t think it’s too ugly. I just wanted something more “professional” looking because my blog is more text than anything else.
That black lake background was cool. Any chance of getting it back? Go Giants although those bastards knocked out both of our teams.

may i give some feedback on the look? the stark white in whatever font that is on the black is kind of hard on the eyes. it won’t keep me from visiting though.
I visit blogs for the content, not all the artsy-fartsy stuff. All that stuff just takes the blog longer to load.
Skeletor - I could, but I wanted more content than looks. The two column is better for more text.
Lime - It is? I’ll keep looking for themes then.
Tshsmom - Yeah, that’s what I think. I hate all the do-dads that slow down loading time.

Miladysa - Yeah, I notice yours changes it seems like every month.
I’m not really into the Super Bowl because the Packers are already out of the Playoffs, but do have a small bet on the Giants covering the point spread (meaning the Patriots have to win by more than 13 points).
Slade - Thanks! Yeah, but mostly on state propositions. I’m registered Libertarian, so don’t get to vote in the Primaries.
Of course I’ll be by. It’s always a pleasure to read someone’s well-formed opinions that are different from my own.

Dude, I love the template. This is in line with how I want mine to looks. One of these days I’ll really fix it right.
You’ll have to stop by for my impressions of the Superbowl. Is the NFC back?
Oh, and there are javascript errors on your page. On almost every letter I type. I had to turn off javascript debugging to leave a comment (which I have on because I’m a web developer).

And thanks for the note about javascript errors. I’m wondering if it was the godadday ads (their ads, not mine - because it was a free hosting and I just updated it today to a long-term contract so the ads should be gone shortly).
