April 17th, 2008Shame on Brigitte Bardot. Looks like she will get arrested for telling how she feels about Islam. You all know that’s not politically correct.
Islam is the most peaceful religion, EVER! It is after all, the religion of peace.
They’re such nice people. They let women wear neat clothes and do wonderful things with bombs.
We should embrace them all and let them all come here, and even enforce their laws instead of our own. That would be cool.
So shame on Brigitte Bardot. She should be silenced and powerless and if she was only forced to wear a burka like all women should, she’d know why Islam is the best religion in the world (and only religion that should be allowed - kill all the infidels).

ok, so this is coming from the same country that banned girls from wearing the hijab to public schools because it violated notions of secularity? so you can’t have the freedom to dress modestly if that’s what your faith dictates as modest, but neither can someone speak out against the more radical expressions of the religion. ok, yeah, that makes lots of sense.

Sage - Well, I do like their women. Their women are gorgeous and they like American men. And I like their film, and the French make pretty good desserts. I just came back from Malaysia last night and didn’t hear about what said Miss Bardot, so, i think the French medias don’t care a great deal about what she says, and what she thinks.
Who has invented “political correcteness”? don’t you don’t remember already? or are you over that already? great, because we will follow as usual, poor old Europe is always one step back America.
And, yes, true, Brigitte Bardot, still alive, has not well aged, because she is the most courageous of all women, she dare speaks her mind, she refuses botox, aesthetic surgery, all those stuff the ageing actresses are using to let us think they are still young and beautiful, Brigitte Bardot is true to herself inside and out.

Kitem - I saw some of her movies and thought she was at one time the most physically beautiful woman in the world. Hats off to her for not doing the botox, plastic surgery, and everything else. There’s nothing wrong with aging. It’s a natural life cycle and I’m glad she didn’t do all that crap.
Political correctness was invented by the media to not offend anyone, but it has come to the point of silliness, because it’s ok to offend some groups but not others. For example, in this country, you can make fun of blond people at work, but no one else. That’s silly.
Miladysa - She was ranting about Islam in France and how they don’t believe in Freedom and how badly they treat their women. The thing I have a problem with is you’re allowed to criticize Christians, but not Muslims. A very dangerous double standard.
Hi Zombie, I think she’s awesome - I think she is the bravest women in France and I know a few… I can’t believe she’ll be fined and sent to jail, she only spoke out what others think and in a country where, like you said, freedom of speech is controlled it’s an amazing thing to do. Of course, all muslims are not like what she said and they are the majority BUT they should be the ones fighting.
Once one of the most beautiful women on the planet, she is now barely a scrotum of herself — a wrinkled, deflated balloon smeared with makeup and ingrown hair. Helen & Tshsmom - On my old blog, I had her as one of my favorite beauties of all time. Personally, I find a woman who speaks her mind, no matter how popular or unpopular it is, sexy.
And also hats off to her for allowing herself to age. I just don’t find plastic surgery, botox, and fake parts sexy. When I’m 73, I’ll look like a male version of her and proud of it.

Every religion has their extremists.
The thing about hummanity is none of us are the same…. We think different… we speak the different language but meaning the same thing, we like different things, and our idea of freedom is also different. As individuals i think we should respect these difference. It not necessary that just because i think in a certain way and act the certain way, everyone should be like that.
So in that way i respect all religions, all people and whatever their culture is.
Few months back, i went for this training and gotto meet few muslims from Egypt, Jorden, SA, Oman and few others. They were really nice. So i can’t understand the generalization we tend to potray about all muslim being conservative and against freedom. Even within the Christen we have the KKK.
